Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Product Manager to lead the development and growth of our Measure, Report, and Verify (MRV) decarbonization platform. This role is crucial in our mission to help agricultural enterprises comply with the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and its Forest, Land, and Agriculture (FLAG) guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the MRV platform, aligning it with Sagri's overall mission and business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, UX/UI, and business development, to deliver a world-class product.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
• Gather and prioritize product requirements, working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and pain points.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the MRV platform.
• Manage the product backlog, write detailed user stories, and work with the development team to ensure timely delivery of features.
• Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, effectively communicating product vision, features, and timeline.
• Stay current with the latest carbon accounting trends, sustainable agriculture, and relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
• Represent Sagri at industry events and engage with key clients and partners.
• Manage stakeholder expectations around scientific model limitations while maintaining product credibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus
• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in AgriTech and environmental technologies.
• Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and experience working in fast-paced, iterative environments
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly products
• Familiarity with remote sensing technologies, GIS, and data visualization tools is a plus.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
• Experience with data-driven decision-making and A/B testing methodologies
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail
• Passion for sustainability and leveraging technology to drive positive environmental impact
