In partnership with OpenAI, the company is redefining the legal AI landscape and developing innovative solutions for the future of professional work. ▼ Learn more about our company here https://recruit.legalontech.jp/ ▼ Solutions we provide https://legalontech.jp/service/ 【About this role】 This role reports directly to the CFO of LegalOn Technologies and plays a critical role in leading FP&A while also supporting a broad range of CFO-level responsibilities, including M&A execution, fundraising, and equity incentive programs. The position will take a leadership role in building the FP&A function for LegalOn US and the newly acquired Fides, providing financial insights that directly influence strategic and operational decision-making across the global organization. 【Responsibilities】 - Build and scale the FP&A function for LegalOn US and the newly acquired Fides - Lead budgeting, long-term planning, and rolling forecast processes - Deliver financial analysis, KPI reporting, and executive-level materials to support management decision-making - Execute M&A transactions in close collaboration with the Strategy team, including financial modeling, due diligence, and post-merger integration support - Lead equity and debt financing initiatives, including planning, execution, and communication with investors and financial institutions - Design, implement, and administer equity incentive plans such as stock options - Act as a trusted partner to the CFO, supporting a wide range of ad-hoc and strategic CFO-related initiatives 【What Makes This Role Appealing】 - High-impact role with direct exposure to executive leadership and core management decisions - Opportunity to work at the center of global expansion and M&A-driven growth - Broad exposure beyond FP&A, including fundraising and equity compensation design - Strong career development potential toward CFO or senior finance leadership roles

- Proven experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or strategy consulting - Strong expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and performance management - Hands-on experience with M&A transactions and/or fundraising activities - Business-level English proficiency to work effectively with global stakeholders - Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior executives

- Experience in SaaS, startup, or technology-driven companies - Knowledge of US GAAP and international accounting/tax matters - Experience designing and managing equity compensation plans - Experience working in global organizations or on cross-border projects
