mond is a creator-first membership and subscription platform with 16M MAUs mainly in Japan that empowers creators to build sustainable businesses through direct relationships with their audiences. We provide the tools creators need to monetize their work, grow their communities, and achieve creative and financial independence.

As we expand into the US market, we are looking for a founding Head of Growth to define and execute the strategy that will establish mond as the go-to platform for creators in the world’s largest creator economy.

The Role

We’re hiring a Partnerships Associate to bring creators of all kinds to Mond. We’re looking for someone who has an existing network, relationship management experience, and is comfortable doing warm and cold outreach in key markets. The ideal candidate will be an innovative, creative thinker who doesn’t rely on a traditional sales playbook and thinks strategically about opportunities beyond established media outlets or personalities. The right candidate will be able to identify the most innovative and interesting people creating content of all kinds online and bring them to Mond. Candidates should have a deep interest in supporting creators and their right to free expression, come with an existing network to tap, and be eager to make an impact in a fast-paced, startup environment. This role reports to and will work in tandem with CEO/COO. Key markets include Instagram, Substack, TikTok, YouTube, and creators and influencers of all kinds.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with COO on lead sourcing and writer/artist/creator outreach to unlock key new markets, across all of lifestyle, culture, and entertainment
• Work closely with COO on creator lead sourcing to unlock key new markets
• Work with creators to develop publication plans and successfully launch them on Mond
• Partner closely with the internal marketing, product, and data teams to deeply understand compelling new markets for Mond to explore and the best strategies to go after them
• Work cross-functionally to help uplevel our lead sourcing and creator outreach strategy across the US entity

Required Qualifications

• Experience in Creator Relations: 2–4 years of experience in relationship management, talent acquisition, or creator partnerships, with a proven track record of handling both warm and cold outreach.
• Deep Understanding of the Creator Economy: A strong grasp of the US creator landscape, including monetization trends, platform dynamics (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Substack), and a genuine passion for supporting creators and their right to free expression.
• Non-Traditional & Strategic Sourcing: Ability to think outside the traditional sales playbook. Proven capability to identify up-and-coming, innovative internet talent and niche communities before they hit mainstream media.
• Thriving in a Fast-Paced Startup: A self-starter mindset with the ability to operate autonomously, embrace ambiguity, and work in lockstep with executive leadership (CEO/COO).
• Strong Execution & Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills to onboard creators, build trust, and collaborate with them to develop and execute successful publication and launch plans on Mond.
• Flexibility for Cross-Border Collaboration: Willingness and flexibility to accommodate overlapping working hours with the Japan-based leadership team (CEO/COO) for syncs and cross-functional alignment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing Network: An active, pre-existing network of creators, influencers, writers, or artists in key US markets (lifestyle, culture, and entertainment) that you can tap into from day one.
• Early-Stage or Go-To-Market (GTM) Experience: Experience working as an early hire at a high-growth startup, or involvement in expanding a global platform into the US market.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven experience partnering with internal product, marketing, and data teams to refine outreach strategies and leverage data-driven insights for lead sourcing.
• Multi-Platform Literacy: Deep familiarity with diverse content formats—ranging from long-form writing to short-form video—and the unique needs of creators across different mediums.
