Moriは生活の中の会話を文字起こし・要約し、1日の終わりには会話や出来事を1ページの日記にまとめるプロダクトです。
STTとLLMの技術を組み合わせることで、単純な議事録アプリではなく、日常を振り返ることをより楽しく、そして日々の生活をより大切に過ごすきっかけを与えることを目指しています。
ウェアラブルハードウェアの開発から、LLMを活用したバックエンド、振り返る意味のある日記を表現するフロントエンドと、一貫したプロダクト体験の設計が求められます。
LLMを使うことでどんな新しいコンシューマー体験を生み出すことができるかを日々探索しています。
我々はまず北米マーケットを対象にグローバルでの展開を行います。日本ベースのチームが生み出す新しい体験を世界へ発信するチームメンバーを募集しています。

Mori is a product that transcribes and summarizes everyday conversations, then compiles the day's conversations and events into a one-page diary at the end of each day.
By combining STT and LLM technologies, we aim to go beyond a simple meeting-notes app — making it more enjoyable to reflect on your day and inspiring you to live each day more intentionally.
From developing wearable hardware to building an LLM-powered backend and a frontend that presents diaries worth reflecting on, we design a cohesive end-to-end product experience.
Every day, we explore what new consumer experiences can be created with LLMs.
We are launching globally, starting with the North American market. We are looking for team members to bring new experiences created by our Japan-based team to the world.

LLMのアプリケーションレイヤーへの実装を中心としたバックエンド開発を推進するソフトウェアエンジニアを募集しています。
このポジションでは、LLMの最新トレンドを追いながら評価フレームワークを整備し、プロダクト全体のバックエンド開発/改善を推進します。
プロダクトチームにおけるコアメンバーの一員としてユーザーニーズを深く理解しながら、価値のある機能を素早く形にしていく、プロダクトの技術的な方向性に大きな影響を持つ役割となります。

We are looking for a Software Engineer to drive backend development centered on integrating LLMs into the application layer.
In this role, you will stay on top of the latest LLM trends, build evaluation frameworks, and lead backend development and improvement across the product.
As a core member of the product team, you will deeply understand user needs and rapidly turn them into valuable features — playing a key role in shaping the technical direction of the product.

担当業務 / Responsibilities

JA

• LLM機能の設計・開発・運用: プロンプト設計からバックエンドの呼び出しアーキテクチャ、コスト最適化、ログ・再現性の担保までをエンドツーエンドで担う。OpenAI、Anthropic等の複数プロバイダーを目的に応じて使い分ける。
• 評価フレームワークの構築: プロンプトの反復改善とセマンティック検索の品質向上のための評価基盤を設計・運用し、定量的な改善サイクルを確立する。
• バックエンドアーキテクチャの設計・構築: API設計、非同期パイプライン、データモデリングを通じて、ハードウェアデバイス・AI処理・モバイルアプリをつなぐバックエンド基盤を構築・進化させる。
• 音声・デバイスデータパイプラインの開発: デバイスからの非同期イベント、音声認識（STT）、話者識別、意味解析の出力をPub/Subベースのパイプラインで処理し、スケーラビリティと信頼性を担保する。
• プロトタイピングと技術検証: 新しいアイデアやLLMの新手法に対してPoCを素早く構築し、プロダクトへの適用可能性を検証する。
• チーム横断での連携: プロダクトマネージャー、デザイナー、モバイルエンジニアと密に連携し、プロダクト全体の整合性と品質を保つ。

• LLM Feature Design, Development & Operations: Own end-to-end — from prompt design to backend call architecture, cost optimization, and logging/reproducibility. Use multiple providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) based on purpose.
• Evaluation Framework: Design and operate evaluation infrastructure for iterative prompt improvement and semantic search quality, establishing quantitative improvement cycles.
• Backend Architecture: Build and evolve the backend foundation — API design, async pipelines, and data modeling — connecting hardware devices, AI processing, and the mobile app.
• Voice & Device Data Pipelines: Process async events from devices, STT, speaker diarization, and semantic analysis outputs through Pub/Sub-based pipelines, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Prototyping & Technical Validation: Rapidly build PoCs for new ideas and emerging LLM techniques to validate their applicability to the product.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and mobile engineers to maintain overall product coherence and quality.

• Go、TypeScript（Node.js）、Pythonなどで商用プロダクトのAPIを設計・実装した経験。特定のフレームワークよりも、API設計、非同期処理、エラーハンドリング、スケーラビリティに対する深い理解を重視。
• リレーショナルDB（PostgreSQL、MySQL等）を用いた実践的なデータモデリング経験。単純なCRUDではなく、履歴管理、時系列データの集計、クエリパフォーマンスを考慮した設計ができること。
• Pub/Sub、Cloud Tasks、SQS、Celery等を用いたイベント駆動・バックグラウンド処理の設計・実装経験。
• GCP（Cloud Run、Cloud Functions、BigQuery、Cloud Storage等）またはAWSの本番環境での実務経験。
• 外部API（AI、決済、IoT、SaaS等）のプロダクトへの統合経験。レート制限、リトライ、冪等性、障害時のフォールバックを考慮した堅牢な設計ができること。

• Experience designing and implementing production APIs in Go, TypeScript (Node.js), Python, or similar. We value deep understanding of API design, async processing, error handling, and scalability over specific framework expertise.
• Practical data modeling experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.). Ability to design beyond simple CRUD — including history management, time-series aggregation, and query performance optimization.
• Experience designing and implementing event-driven and background processing systems using Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, SQS, Celery, or similar.

• プロンプトの評価・改善サイクルを構築・運用した経験（手動評価・自動評価いずれも可）。
• 複数のLLMプロバイダーを用途に応じて使い分けた経験があるとなお良い。
