JOB DESCRIPTION
About the Role
Manager of Engineering dept. is a senior technical leadership role within the Director of Technology pillar. This position will serve as the operational technical lead for all BMS projects in Thailand, bridging design, construction, and quality — while building and developing the engineering team beneath you.
This is not a customer-facing sales or requirements role. Your focus is entirely on technical execution, team capability, and operational clarity — ensuring that every project is delivered to specification, on schedule, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Decision-Making & Quality Ownership
・Take overall technical ownership of BMS system design, construction, and commissioning across all Thai projects
・Review and approve drawings, system configurations, and construction plans
・Lead technical resolution of on-site issues, defects, and non-conformances
・Establish and enforce design standards and technical quality benchmarks
2. Team Leadership & Capability Development
・Directly manage PM(s), System Architect(s), Facility Engineers, Site Managers, and Site Engineers as the team grows
・Conduct structured performance evaluations and capability assessments for all technical team members
・Develop team competencies through mentoring, knowledge transfer, and process standardization
・Drive recruitment decisions and onboarding for technical hires in collaboration with HR
3. Reporting & Operational Transparency
・Prepare and deliver a weekly technical status report to the Aeterlink Thailand management team (MD and Director of Technology)
・Maintain project dashboards covering schedule, technical risk, and quality metrics
・Escalate issues proactively and propose corrective actions with clear timelines
Out of Scope (Handled by Others)
・Customer-facing requirements adjustment with local Thai clients — handled by the BizDev/PM team
・Technical requirements coordination with Japanese clients or Japan HQ — handled by the Director of Technology and Japan-side PMs

IDEAL CANDIDATE
The business is expected to expand not only within Thailand but also across neighboring ASEAN countries. This role offers the opportunity to become the founding member of the project management team in Thailand and play a central role in supporting business growth and organizational expansion. In the future, the Thailand office is expected to serve as a regional hub, taking on group-level project management responsibilities across Thailand and the broader ASEAN region.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Required experience & skill:
BMS Project Management
- Proven experience managing full-lifecycle BMS construction projects
Engineering Team Leadership
- Experience managing a team of 10+ engineers
HVAC Expertise
- Design or site management experience with HVAC systems
International / Multinational Experience
- Work experience outside Thailand, or management role in a multinational company's Thai branch
English Proficiency
- High professional proficiency — reporting, coordination, and documentation in English
Thai Proficiency
- High professional proficiency — team management and local operations in Thai

Preferred experience & skill:
- BMS system planning and design experience (not just installation)
- Niagara framework development experience
- Network design and administration experience
- Wireless network design and deployment experience
- IoT device development or operations experience
- Experience in subcontractor selection and performance evaluation
- Experience building standardized processes for construction management projects
- Experience working at or managing projects for Japanese companies
- Experience launching a construction management team or subsidiary from the ground up
- P&L management experience at company or business unit level (beyond project-level)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
給与
Basic Salary:100,000~150,000THB /per month
- Transportation allowance:be paid at actual cost
- Time attendance allowance (subject to company policy and attendance record)
