our customers with complete self-driving applications.
As a Autonomous Driving - System Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and updating the requirements and architecture of
our self-driving vehicles that are safe. You will act as a bridge between, software, and cloud development teams to minimize complexity, cost,
power, and optimize performance, capability, and scalability of the system and the product.
・Define system requirements and architecture for prospective wide-variety of autonomous driving systems so as to ensure the future product
vision and roadmap as well as fail operational concepts and safety mechanism
・Develop detailed and verifiable requirements and documentation for the system interactions between all the relevant components of
autonomous driving system including Autoware
・Act as a bridge between, software and cloud development teams to minimize complexity, cost, power, and optimize performance, capability,
and scalability of the system and the product.
・Make complex trade-offs between sensor layout, edge computing systems, base vehicle systems, Autoware software components and Cloud
・Share system requirements and architecture work with the software and hardware development teams and Field Application Engineering team.
・Perform safety and fault analyses to develop robust solutions to meet product and safety goals and, whenever necessary, to ensure mitigations are in place for safe operations.
