At TeraWatt Technology, you will help transform breakthrough lithium-ion battery innovation into market-shaping partnerships and scalable growth. We design and build next-generation cells that are lighter, smaller, more powerful, and safer—with a bold mindset we call “Make it Work at Scale.” Our first mass-production facility is now online and ISO 9001 certified, targeting commercial sales from 2026. Joining TeraWatt means being part of a team that transforms technological advantage into lasting impact—closing high-value deals, shaping the future of electrified mobility and industry, and advancing our mission of Electrifying all for a sustainable future. 【Mission】 ・Drive company growth by expanding business opportunities with new and existing customers in the lithium-ion battery market. ・Act as the primary customer interface, leading proposals, negotiations, contracts, and joint projects with global partners. ・Collaborate closely with internal teams (PM, R&D, Manufacturing) to ensure customer requirements are reflected in product and technology roadmaps. ・Contribute to strategic planning, fundraising support, and market intelligence through insights from customers and industry trends. 【Responsibilities】 ・Serve as the main contact for assigned customers (automotive, mobility, drone, power tools, and device manufacturers). ・Conduct customer presentations, lead negotiations, and review contracts (in English or Japanese, with legal support). ・Manage customer projects from proposal through execution, ensuring alignment with technical and commercial objectives. ・Collect and share customer requirements and feedback with internal stakeholders, supporting collaboration and development. ・Analyze market data, customer feedback, and technical perspectives to generate strategic insights and proposals. ・Share industry trend information with the team to strengthen decision-making. ・Support fundraising activities and other business development initiatives. ・Represent the company at international exhibitions, conferences, and customer meetings.
求める人物像
QUALIFICATIONS
【Background & Experience】 ・Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in science or engineering. ・Global mindset: Comfortable working in cross-cultural teams with frequent English use. ・5–10 years in B2B industries. ・At least 3+ years in sales, business development, or customer-facing technical roles. ・Experience in Lithium Ion Bat ・Experience managing key accounts and negotiations with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or energy solution providers. ・Hands-on involvement in large-scale contract discussions (commercial and legal aspects). ・Participation in strategic planning or fundraising is a plus. 【Skills & Competencies】 ・Commercial acumen: Strong ability to manage quotations, pricing structures, and business models. ・Technical literacy: Able to understand and explain battery specifications (performance, safety, cost trade-offs). ・Customer engagement: Skilled at building and maintaining long-term relationships with global customers. ・Strategic thinking: Capable of analyzing market/industry data and translating insights into business opportunities. ・Cross-functional collaboration: Works seamlessly with PM, R&D, Manufacturing, and Legal. ・Negotiation & communication: Confident in presentations, discussions, and deal-making in both English and Japanese. 【Personality Traits】 ・Result-driven: Motivated by achieving ambitious growth targets. ・Relationship-builder: Values trust, empathy, and long-term partnerships. ・Analytical & logical: Quickly organizes complex technical and business information for decision-making. ・Proactive & self-starter: Takes initiative in customer engagement and internal coordination. ・Collaborative leadership: Balances independence with teamwork, focused on collective success. ・Resilient: Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure, global startup environment.

ESSENTIAL CRIETERIA
【Must-Have Qualifications】 ・English proficiency: CEFR B2 level or above, or TOEIC 900+. ・STEM background: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in science or engineering. ・Experience in the lithium-ion battery industry. ・At least 3 years of professional experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing technical roles in manufacturing. ・Strong skills in customer communication, negotiation, and relationship management in global environments.
