At TeraWatt Technology, you will help build product platforms leveraging our breakthrough lithium-ion battery innovation to enable market-shaping partnerships and accelerate growth. We design and build next-generation cells that are lighter, smaller, more powerful, and safer—with a bold mindset we call “Make it Work at Scale.” Our first mass-production facility is now online and ISO 9001 certified, targeting commercial sales from 2026. Joining TeraWatt means being part of a team that transforms technological advantage into lasting impact—closing high-value deals, shaping the future of electrified mobility and industry, and advancing our mission of Electrifying all for a sustainable future. 【Mission】 ・Drive product standardization while ensuring competitiveness in cost and pricing. ・Identify and manage cost structures and pricing by consolidating requirements from prospect customers, R&D, and pack engineering. ・Lead communication with prospect customers to capture requirements and challenges. ・Actively support Sales activities by providing technical and commercial insights, ensuring proposals are aligned with product strategy. ・Support customized product solutions for strategic or special customers where standard products do not fully meet requirements. 【Key Responsibilities】 ・Conduct market research and analyze customer insights. ・Define and maintain standardized product specifications to streamline cost and scalability. ・Lead cost analysis, quotations, and pricing strategies. ・Support customization projects for special or high-value customers. ・Align battery pack performance, safety, and cost requirements across teams. ・Define and execute the product roadmap. ・Provide close support to Sales during customer meetings, proposal preparation, and negotiations. ・Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales, R&D, Manufacturing, and Procurement.

【Must-Have Qualifications】 ・Strong background in product management or related role in B2B industrial/technology products. ・Experience engaging with customers and managing requirement discussions. ・Solid understanding of cost structures and pricing mechanisms. ・Business-level English for communication with global customers and suppliers. ・JP language fluency

歓迎スキル

【Nice-to-Have Qualifications】 ・Experience in the lithium-ion battery, automotive, or energy storage industry. ・Hands-on collaboration with R&D or manufacturing teams. ・Familiarity with automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.

【Background & Experience】 ・Industry exposure: B2B industrial products (automotive, electronics, renewable energy, or manufacturing). Doesn’t need to be a “pure battery person,” but must be comfortable with technical products where cost, safety, and performance trade-offs matter. ・Career path: 5–10 years in product management, technical sales, or solution engineering, ideally in an international environment. ・Business acumen: Comfortable analyzing cost structures, setting pricing strategies, and negotiating with customers. ・Customer-facing experience: Experience working directly with global clients and translating requirements into product specifications. 【Skills & Competencies】 ・Cross-functional bridge: Able to “speak the language” of both engineers (R&D, pack design) and commercial teams (Sales, BD). ・Analytical mindset: Strong at breaking down cost and pricing elements to support competitive positioning. ・Standardization mindset: Knows how to balance standardized product platforms with customization requests from strategic accounts. ・Strong communicator: Comfortable presenting to executives, negotiating with customers, and coordinating with internal teams. ・Global perspective: Fluent in English, open to frequent communication with overseas customers and partners. 【Personality Traits】 ・Collaborative & diplomatic: Manages stakeholder expectations without losing momentum. ・Structured thinker: Approaches complex technical and commercial problems with a clear framework. ・Customer-oriented: Views customer feedback as an opportunity for product improvement. ・Proactive & hands-on: Not only defines the roadmap but also joins customer calls and cost analysis when needed.
