We are recruiting AI engineers who aspire to provide high value to customers in a rapidly growing market! ■ Job Description Conduct AI-related development in the 3D reconstruction processing provided by our cloud-based drone surveying service "Kumiki" and related services. You will be responsible for designing and implementing features centered on object detection and Gaussian Splatting, providing high-value results to customers through "Kumiki". ■ Specific Job Responsibilities Planning and Development of New Features: Design and implement AI-related features that enhance the accuracy, practicality, and aesthetic appeal of 3D reconstruction results (e.g., detecting signs in images and linking them to survey point coordinates). Improvement of Existing Features and Learning Models: Continuously improve features based on feedback from customers and internal teams, and retrain models as necessary. Technology Evaluation and Research: Evaluate and introduce the latest AI-related technologies and libraries into products. Collaboration with Internal and External Teams: Collaborate with team members with specialized expertise and the web team responsible for data provision through cloud services to improve overall product quality. ■ Position Appeal Contribution to Social Issues: Transform challenging, dirty, and dangerous (3K) workplaces, exacerbated by the declining birthrate and aging population, into comfortable and efficient (4K) environments. Your AI skill will change construction and disaster prevention sites. Technical Challenges: Thoroughly pursue the enhancement of 3D reconstruction models obtained from drone surveying using AI image processing libraries (OpenCV, PyTorch, etc.). You can freely use our in-house GPU servers! Growth to Senior Engineer: While leveraging your strengths as an AI engineer, if you wish, you can actively engage in areas such as 3D reconstruction processing itself, speeding up various processes, and managing in-house GPU servers (Linux). This is an environment where you can act with discretion as an engineer who "advances the product" rather than having a "limited role." ・One of the following: 　・Practical experience with object detection using YOLO, MMSegmentation, etc. (able to smoothly perform a series of tasks such as environment setup, annotation*, training, and validation) 　・Extensive practical experience with Gaussian Splatting ・Practical experience with machine learning or deep learning for 3D data ・Extensive implementation experience with Python and NumPy ・English communication skills (internal team communication is primarily in English) *Annotation work can be outsourced. ・Experience in designing software on the scale of tens of thousands of lines of code ・Experience in developing 3D reconstruction processes (SfM, MVS), 3D computer vision, and image processing ・Extensive practical experience in software development using 2D and 3D geometric calculations and GDAL ・Extensive practical experience in processing acceleration through parallelization and GPU utilization ・Extensive implementation experience with C++ ・Japanese communication skills (communication outside the team is primarily in Japanese)
