Job Overview:

This position is responsible for managing real-time data and Noon Reports received from approximately 300 container vessels operated by our parent company, Ocean Network Express (ONE), as well as providing backup support to the analytics team.

Identification and Resolution of Missing Data:
Monitor the receipt status of data regularly transmitted from vessels. When missing data is detected, identify and address the root cause (e.g., transmission issues).
Data Validation and Correction:
Detect anomalies (such as fuel consumption recorded as “0”) and ensure data is corrected and properly reconciled to maintain accuracy.
Analytical Support:
Based on the validated data, support the current analytics team by assisting with output generation and report preparation in accordance with their instructions.

Specifically ：

You will start with the following responsibilities and gradually expand your scope over time:
■ Detection and Resolution of Missing Data
Monitor the receipt status of data regularly transmitted from vessels.

When data gaps are identified, investigate the root causes (e.g., transmission issues), follow up with the vessel, and collaborate with relevant departments to reconcile and organize the data.

■ Data Validation and Correction
Review vessel data (such as fuel consumption and cruising speed) to identify any anomalies or errors.
Rather than simply correcting inaccuracies, you will analyze error patterns to understand why they occurred and contribute to building mechanisms that enhance overall data accuracy and reliability.

■ Analytical Support and Reporting
Work closely with analysts to generate performance analysis outputs based on validated data and support the preparation of reports for the Singapore headquarters.

You will also be encouraged to proactively propose improvements, including streamlining and automating routine reporting processes through IT tools and digital solutions.
