## Overview At Money Forward, we develop and provide the B2B SaaS "Money Forward Cloud." Among these services, the SMB Development Department provides a strong product portfolio aiming to support and accelerate businesses in the small medium enterprise market by automating and streamlining many tasks. The division is experiencing rapid growth coupled with the globalisation of the development organisation and launch of new product features, so it is essential to ensure continued improvement in quality across the product line and organisation. With this background, we established the QA Division within the SMB Development Department in 2025 so we can commit to the quality improvement for each product and improve the quality standard across the SMB Development Department. Therefore, we are looking for people who would like to take up a challenge in our growing organization and help contribute to improving the quality and productivity of our products as QA Engineers. ## Responsibilities and Duties We are seeking a QA Engineer with strong analytical, testing, and communication skills to join our dynamic team at Money Forward. As a member of our high-performing, English-speaking team, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of products that serve millions of users. * Create detailed test plans and strategies customized for each assigned project * Analyze product requirements and proactively clarify any gaps or concerns * Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases based on deep domain knowledge and robust testing methodologies * Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and broaden coverage * Contribute to QA department initiatives aimed at improving processes, tools, and overall product quality * Drive continuous improvements in testing practices and actively share knowledge and best practices across teams * Provide mentorship, guidance, and onboarding support to junior or new QA team members ## Required Skills and Experience * 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing * Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices * Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman or equivalent * Practical experience in test automation using any framework and programming language * Proven ability to create and implement effective test plans and test strategies * Experience working in agile or cross-functional teams * Familiarity with test and issue management tools such as Jira, TestRail, etc. * Strong interpersonal skills, open-minded attitude, and a self-motivated approach to work ## Preferred Skills and Experience * ISTQB or JSTQB certification or equivalent practical knowledge * Experience in leading QA teams ranging from small to medium size * Experience in process improvement or QA process optimization * A passion for challenges and solving problems from the ground up * Experience in AI development and/or experience in using AI tools to improve development processes.
