### 【Only applicants residing in Japan are eligible to apply.】 ## Overview _About the Fukuoka Development Base_ The Fukuoka development base of Money Forward was established in December 2017\. Since then, many engineers, designers, and interns have joined, and the base has been steadily growing. In late November 2020, we moved to a new location to further expand the development base, and we are actively recruiting engineers and designers. At the Fukuoka development base, with the concept of "[Move Forward](https://note.com/keikokanai/n/ned608543e777)," we aim to be a place that values growth opportunities for our members and encourages them to boldly take on various challenges. Money Forward provides services that solve financial issues through technology. At the Fukuoka base, we develop and operate "[Money Forward Cloud Expense](https://biz.moneyforward.com/expense/)" and "[Money Forward Cloud Accounts Payable](https://biz.moneyforward.com/payable/)," which are core services of Money Forward offered to sole proprietors and corporations. Additionally, we are developing "[Money Forward Pay for Business](https://biz.moneyforward.com/biz-pay/)" a platform that promotes cashless transactions in the business domain by providing business cards and other services. This new business was launched from the Fukuoka base in September 2021. _UI Turn Support Campaign Ongoing_ Money Forward is currently running a campaign to support relocation to our Fukuoka development base! We are offering 500,000 yen to assist with relocation expenses to engineers who join us mid-career and are currently living in Japan (conditions apply). Please check the details in the following article: [Announcement of the Campaign to Support Engineers' UI Turn Expenses to Fukuoka](https://moneyforward-dev.jp/entry/2025/01/15/100000) ## Responsibilities and Duties _Recruitment Background_ In product development, the frontend domain covers a wide range of areas close to the user, such as appearance, performance, and accessibility, and there are many challenges in the products currently under development. Additionally, technical debt and legacy development environments are also becoming issues. We are working daily to solve these challenges and enhance value for users. New product development is also gradually progressing, and the team is becoming capable of development in a modern environment. We are looking for engineers who can focus on enhancing user value in the frontend domain at the Fukuoka base. _Job Responsibilities_ You will be responsible for the development of the business-oriented cloud services "Money Forward Cloud Expenses" and "Money Forward Cloud Accounts Payable." ## Required Skills and Experience * Experience in developing and operating web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript * Experience in development using component-oriented frameworks such as React or Vue ## Preferred Skills and Experience * Experience in development using TypeScript * Experience in development using GraphQL * Experience in testing with Jest * Experience in UI/UX design * Knowledge of accessibility * Knowledge of web performance * Experience in setting up frontend development environments using tools like webpack * Practical experience in Agile development, such as Scrum * Experience contributing to OSS * Experience in AI development and/or experience in using AI tools to improve development processes. However, there are a few situations and tasks where communicating in Japanese is necessary.
