At Mico, we provide Mico Engage AI, a high-traffic enterprise SaaS platform used daily by major corporations, and we are currently looking for core team members. This is an opportunity to refine the product with your own hands and enhance the user experience in a fast-growing startup environment. You will be expected to proactively tackle a wide range of challenges, including optimizing high-traffic systems, designing and developing new AI-powered features, and improving real-time processing infrastructure. This role allows you to work closely with lead engineers, drive development that directly impacts the product’s growth, and be involved in technical decision-making and standardization. In addition, by collaborating within a multicultural and bilingual team, you will have the chance to hone your skills in a global development environment using both Japanese and English. Key Responsibilities: * Stabilize Mico Engage AI’s delivery infrastructure by developing systems that ensure stable delivery even for clients with large user bases. * Develop new features according to the product roadmap to enhance product value. * Implement customer-driven features based on feedback from customer success activities, focusing on functions that are broadly useful and in high demand. * Drive continuous improvement by addressing daily requests from new and existing customers, resolving product backlog items, improving UI/UX, and enhancing the Developer Experience (DX). Tech Stack: * Backend: TypeScript, React * Frontend: TypeScript (Next.js), Chakra UI, React Flow * Database: TiDB, Aurora MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis MemoryDB * Infrastructure: AWS (Cognito, EC2, ECS, Route53, Lambda, Kinesis Data Stream, Kinesis Firehose, SQS, SES, ElastiCache, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, Audit, API Gateway, CodeDeploy), IaC (Terraform, AWS CDK) * Middleware: Nginx, Supervisor * Monitoring: NewRelic, Sentry, AWS CloudWatch * Data Analysis: BigQuery, Google Data Studio, Google Analytics, Metabase, Trocco * Environment Setup: Docker * CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Amplify Hosting * CDN: CloudFront * Source Code Management: GitHub * Communication: Google Meet, Slack, Notion, Redmine, Jira, ClickUp

* Able to move forward in ambiguous or undefined situations with curiosity and initiative * Makes technical decisions by balancing short-term effort with long-term value * Rapidly tests hypotheses and learns from failures * Demonstrates high standards through code and reviews, inspiring the team * Identifies product challenges and sees tasks through to completion * Collaborates effectively with multinational team members and openly shares knowledge

* 5+ years of professional software development experience * Development experience using TypeScript and React * Full-stack engineering experience (both frontend and backend) * Ability to independently handle the full cycle from specification to release * 2+ years of code review experience * Ability to implement test code to improve quality * Experience in making technology selection decisions * Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English

* 2+ years leading development as a technical lead (team of 5+ members) * Experience leveraging AI efficiently to improve development speed and quality, and ability to document and share best practices * Next.js development experience * CI/CD setup experience * Infrastructure development experience (AWS, Docker, etc.)
