We are profitable, privately owned and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Our clients include some of the biggest names in the Japanese tech and gaming industry. We have a diverse team from all corners of the world and we are looking for a skilled designer to help us expand track, a platform that helps companies evaluate and train software engineering skills. ### Our vision and the people we’re looking for We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Web UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating visually appealing and user-friendly web designs that effectively communicate our brand identity and business goals. As a Senior Web UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing exceptional user interfaces for websites and web applications, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user experience. ### _Responsibilities_ * Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other designers to conceptualize and create visually appealing, user-centered web designs. * Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and solutions. * Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries to ensure consistent and cohesive design across all projects. * Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze user feedback to inform and refine design decisions. * Work closely with developers to ensure the accurate implementation of design specifications and to address any design-related issues. * Provide design leadership and mentorship to junior designers, helping them grow and develop their skills. ### Position Overview & Benefits _◆ What we're up to_ We’re the creators of the award winning skill evaluation and training platform 'Track'. We are sure, once you meet the team, you will feel it too! ### Tools & Equipment Mac or Windows - you can pick your machine and we'll have it ready for you on your first day. # Application Requirements ### _✓Must have_ * A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on web design. * A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional web design projects and a deep understanding of UI/UX principles. * Experience with software engineering is a big plus. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. * Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. * A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web design and user experience. ### _✓Nice-to-have_ * Business level English and Japanese language proficiency ### _Language_ English: Business level Japanese: Not Required (But a real bonus!) ### Ideal Candidate Profile This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about great design, enjoys growing people and teams, and thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. ### Precautions * If you reside abroad and are hired, you will need to relocate to Japan. * You need either a diploma or more than 10 years of engineering experience are required to get a visa. * In addition to visa support, one-way airfare will be provided.
