forent operates 「ExCAMP」, a service that matches people who want to camp with people who want to rent land. We serve many stakeholders such as individuals, companies and governments. We’re looking for a Web Developer to join our team. We are deploying a rapidly growing web service ,which require ongoing technical and development support. We’d love to add a technically minded individual to our already fantastic team, who will work with our existing engneer team. We need someone who knows their way around HTML, CSS and Javascript, with a problem solving mindset and a keen eye for design. The ideal candidate is passionate about web development, with a willingness to learn and bring new and exciting ideas to our team. Your Role and Responsibilities ・Designing, building and optimizing new pages and user experiences ・Help develop new pages and modules across the site ・Help maintain & update the existing codebase and its packages ・Researching the team on UX/UI best practices No doubt there'll be plenty more responsibilities and opportunities for the role to develop that come up as we grow as a business and you grow into the role - plus you'll probably bring loads of ideas to the table too.

No need to be a world expert at all of the above, just the desire to become one ・Creative thinking with attention to detail ・Can work in a fast-paced environment ・Can give and take constructive criticism in order to end up with the best possible result ・Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills. ・Excellent team player ・An interest in outdoor is highly desirable ・Enjoys biscuits & banter

Skills / requirements ・Experience working with HTML, CSS and Javascript to build great user experiences ・Some knowledge of Photoshop / Illustrator or similar design apps ・Git, or similar, version control knowledge preferred ・Extensive experience building in React.Working / theoretical knowledge of React or similar frameworks desireable ・At least a year of experience working as a web developer ・Design experience desirable but not required
