Kodomamo is part of Japan's mobile infrastructure — it runs on KDDI's network for hundreds of thousands of families. That means our systems need to be bulletproof. We're looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to own cloud platform reliability, security, and engineering velocity, with a focus on our Kubernetes-based stack on GCP.
This is a high-autonomy role. You'll shape the infrastructure layer of a social-infrastructure-grade product in a lean team that moves fast.

What You'll Do

• Own, maintain, and evolve Kubernetes clusters and workloads on GCP.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, safe, and auditable deployments.
• Implement and maintain observability tooling — logging, metrics, alerting, on-call runbooks.
• Enforce security best practices across the platform, given our sensitive communication data.
• Collaborate with backend and mobile engineers to support their deployment needs.
• Define infrastructure-as-code standards and ensure everything is auditable and reproducible.

• Infra: Kubernetes (GKE), GCP, Terraform
• Backend: Go, TypeScript
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions or equivalent

• 3+ years of infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE experience in a production environment.
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes experience — cluster management, networking, RBAC, Helm, GitOps.
• Strong GCP knowledge: GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, IAM, Secret Manager.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar).
• Strong understanding of security and privacy fundamentals — we handle sensitive communication data.
• Clear communicator in English.

• Experience with multi-tenant or multi-environment Kubernetes setups.
• Background in consumer or BtoG (government/public sector) product infrastructure.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 or SOC 2 compliance environments.
