BRO-71-Customer Success Specialist - Governance product (GovernOn)

You will lead the onboarding and initial setup for new customers, provide a tailored consultation support for customers to solve their pains in governance, and manage the relation with customers as they ensure successful adoption of the GovernOn platform. Leveraging your legal expertise and understanding of corporate law practices, you will work closely with in-house legal teams - most often General Counsel, Corporate Secretaries, General Affairs department, and their supporting teams - you will help clients accurately map governance data, optimize workflows, and unlock the full value of our platform. You will collaborate with our Customer Success, Product, and Sales teams to deliver a seamless client experience, expand client relationships, and contribute to the growth of our Governance business.Work ResponsibilitiesDeep Understanding of Corporate Documents and Good Understanding of Governance PracticeClearly understand the client’s governance structure and workflows based on the governance workflow knowledge.Interpret and extract legally relevant data from corporate documents (company registrar documents, ) and map it accurately into the GovernOn platform.Provide practically informed guidance that builds client trust and supports long-term partnership.Client Onboarding and ImplementationLead onboarding projects for new enterprise clients, ensuring a structured, efficient, and timely implementation.Design onboarding plans, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver training that accelerates product adoption.Ensure the solution configuration aligns with each client’s corporate structure and governance practice.Customer Success and Relationship ManagementSupport clients throughout their lifecycle with proactive check-ins, responsive communication, and issue resolution.Drive product usage, deepen engagement, and promote best practices to maximize client value.Organize webinars, workshops, and training sessions to educate client teams and strengthen retention.Growth and ExpansionIdentify upsell opportunities within existing accounts and partner with Sales where needed to expand usage or introduce additional services.Collaboration and Process ImprovementCollaborate with Product to communicate client needs and suggest enhancements that improve platform usability and compliance.Partner with Sales, to ensure unified, high-quality client outcomes throughout implementation and support.Identify processes suitable for automation and help implement workflow improvements across CRM and internal systems.

Overview of Position This is a unique opportunity to help shape and execute the strategy of a global leader in Legal AI and Governance AI and one of the most internationally scaled AI companies headquartered in Japan. The role reports directly to the Chief Strategy Officer and works in close partnership with another Corporate Strategy team member who focuses primarily on organizational design and execution capability initiatives. Together, the team supports executive leadership in defining long-term direction and driving execution against group objectives. The Director of Strategy will manage strategic priorities collaboratively across functions and will be expected to mentor a more junior strategy resource as the team expands. This is a high-ownership, high-exposure, and highly hands-on role within a lean strategy team. The Director is expected to personally lead analysis, executive materials, and cross-functional coordination, working directly with leadership across the group. Strategy Definition & Portfolio Direction Develop and continuously refine group-level strategy, including market positioning, product portfolio, AI and agentic direction and content strategy. Identify growth opportunities across geographies, verticals, and adjacent categories. Translate strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps in alignment with executive leadership. Corporate Development & M&A Evaluate inorganic growth opportunities including acquisitions and partnerships aligned with group strategy. Lead strategic assessment and business case development. Coordinate and support due diligence, decision process and post-merger integration as applicable. Enterprise Strategic Initiatives Drive and project-manage key group-wide initiatives identified by management. You will have the authority and responsibility to drive projects within the team, including managing development progress, overseeing tasks, and assigning team members as needed.You will also work closely with the Product Manager to organize and refine product requirements from both a user and an engineering perspective, and to derive the most appropriate solutions.
