Description
KabuK Style is building the next generation infrastructure for the global travel industry.
Our flagship product, HafH, already connects over 30,000 accommodations across 130+ countries and serves a rapidly growing international customer base. As we scale, we are developing a new B2B platform that powers travel distribution, supplier integrations, pricing optimization, and booking infrastructure for partners around the world.
-------------------------------------------
<About the Role>
KabuK Exchange, also known as KBKx, is KabuK Style’s B2B2B travel distribution platform connecting hotels, travel suppliers, channel managers, OTAs, travel agencies, and internal KabuK products through scalable APIs and operational tooling.
We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to help bridge the gap between our platform, our partners, and our internal product and engineering teams. This role will be responsible for supporting partner integrations, technical onboarding, API implementation, troubleshooting, documentation, and pre-/post-launch partner success from a technical perspective.
This is an early platform role with broad scope. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, Business Development, Account Management, and external partners to ensure that integrations are understood, implemented correctly, tested thoroughly, and supported after launch.
-------------------------------------------
<What You'll Do>
▼Partner Integration & Technical Onboarding
- Lead technical onboarding for hotels, channel managers, OTAs, travel agencies, and supplier partners.
- Help partners understand KBKx APIs, data requirements, authentication flows, booking flows, pricing logic, reservation handling, and billing-related processes.
- Translate partner business requirements into clear technical implementation steps.
- Support partners during sandbox testing, UAT, certification, launch preparation, and post-launch stabilization.
- Identify integration gaps early and coordinate resolution with Product and Engineering.
▼API & Platform Support
- Act as the technical point of contact for external partners integrating with KBKx.
- Review API requests, payloads, mapping logic, error responses, and integration behavior.
- Troubleshoot issues related to availability, pricing, booking creation, reservation changes, cancellations, reconciliation, and partner data flow.
- Help define integration best practices, implementation guides, checklists, and partner-facing technical documentation.
- Work with Engineering to improve API usability, error handling, observability, and partner integration reliability.
▼Internal Cross-Functional Support
- Support Product Managers in clarifying technical partner requirements.
- Help QA define partner integration test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Work with Engineering Leads and Backend Engineers to diagnose partner-impacting technical issues.
- Support Account Managers and Business Development during technical discussions with partners.
- Help operational teams understand technical causes of booking, pricing, or reconciliation issues.
▼Incident & Launch Support
- Support P2/P3 partner-facing incidents by triaging issues, gathering evidence, and coordinating with Engineering.
- Help define runbooks for common integration, booking, pricing, and partner support scenarios.
- Participate in launch readiness reviews for new partners and major integrations.
- Monitor partner integration health after launch and recommend improvements.
-------------------------------------------
<Why Join Us>
- Help build a new B2B2B travel distribution platform from an early stage.
- Work on a platform connecting Japanese hotel supply to domestic and global demand partners.
- Play a key role in partner onboarding, integration quality, and external launch readiness.
- Work directly with Product, Engineering, and Business teams.
- Help shape the technical partner success function before the platform scales.
-------------------------------------------
<Additional Notes>
This role is not limited to the responsibilities outlined above. As an early member of the Platform team, your scope will evolve based on business needs, platform maturity, partner requirements, and your strengths and interests.
