【ライブストリーミング事業】Pococha Engineering Manager

Overview: With over 5M downloads DeNA's incredibly successful "Pococha" livestreaming app and a 200% increase in team size, we are seeking multiple experienced Engineering Managers who can manage our team, continue to add high-value team members, and develop mature Development team which will continue to support the organization as we continue our mission of delivering high-quality mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities: ・Business-level fluency in Japanese with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members. (Business-level fluency in English as well is desirable). ・Manage a team of software developers and engineers, including hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations. ・Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize product features and development timelines. ・Develop and maintain project plans and ensure timely delivery of milestones. ・Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and documentation. ・Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability within the engineering team. ・Participate in technical design and implementation discussions. ・Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables. ・Communicate regularly with stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues. ・Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in mobile app development.

Qualifications: ・Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred) ・5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a management role (Flexible, but engineering and management experience are mandatory) ・Demonstrated ability to manage teams of developers and engineers. ・Strong technical skills and experience with mobile app development frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, or iOS/Android SDKs ・Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills ・Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools such as Jira or Asana. ・Experience with software engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) ・Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment preferred.
