ALT_Project Manager (PM) – (BMS project management)

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager (PM) to oversee the implementation of BMS (Building Management System) and CPMS (Central Plant Management System) implementation projects aimed at significantly reducing HVAC electricity costs in large commercial facilities across Thailand.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Control: Manage the entire project lifecycle and overall progress, from site surveys, cost estimation, and construction management to technical documentation submission, final inspection, and handover.
• Team Management: Lead, supervise, and support the development of subordinate Project Engineers (PEs), Site Engineers, and local subcontractors.
• Profitability & Risk Management: Manage project budgets (cost control), maintain profit margins, and proactively identify potential risks to formulate mitigation plans.
• Client Technical Negotiation: Clearly explain technical issues, align requirements, and achieve consensus with clients, such as facility owners and facility management teams.
• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with headquarters and regional engineering teams to define optimal system specifications and drive resource optimization.

Required experience & skill：

• At least 3 years of experience managing BMS or CPMS implementation projects.
• Hands-on experience in project financial management (P&L/cost control) and risk management.
• Proven track record of leading technical negotiations and requirements alignment with clients.
• Experience in managing and leading project/engineering teams.

Preferred experience & skill:

• Experience in continuously reviewing and improving project processes
• Certifications related to project management (e.g., PMP, IT Engineer Certification)
• Experience in developing or implementing hardware, software, or networks
• Expertise in building automation communication protocols (such as BACnet and Modbus) and HVAC optimization control.
• English communication skills
• Experience in startups or business launch phases

The business is expected to expand not only within Thailand but also across neighboring ASEAN countries. This role offers the opportunity to become the founding member of the project management team in Thailand and play a central role in supporting business growth and organizational expansion. In the future, the Thailand office is expected to serve as a regional hub, taking on group-level project management responsibilities across Thailand and the broader ASEAN region.
