We actively support paper publications and conference participation * _High-Impact Product Development_ * Contribute to solving societal and corporate challenges through AI technology, engaging in impactful work * _Autonomy & Speed_ * Leverage startup-specific rapid decision-making processes for flexibility in adopting new technologies, enabling quick realization of individual ideas * _Diverse, Multinational Team_ * Work with an internationally diverse engineering team, deepening cross-cultural understanding and developing a global perspective * _Personal & Organizational Growth_ * A dynamic environment where you can balance self-growth with organizational growth while flexibly adapting to rapid change ### Responsibilities * _Research & Literature Survey_ * Investigate and analyze latest research papers in Generative AI, LLMs, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, etc. * Monitor industry trends and assess applicability to our products * Leverage academic presentation experience for technology evaluation from scholarly perspectives * _Model Development & Implementation_ * Design and develop state-of-the-art Generative AI models (GPT, Stable Diffusion, Custom Transformers, etc.) * Customize and structurally transform existing large language models * Implement using frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers * Develop models across multiple modalities (image generation, speech recognition, text generation, etc.) * _Performance Optimization_ * Optimize inference pipelines (reduce latency, improve throughput) * Apply optimization techniques (quantization, distillation, pruning) * Implement acceleration using GPU/TPU hardware * Ensure scalability and robustness for production environments * _Evaluation & Verification_ * Build model performance evaluation frameworks * Analyze and improve issues (hallucinations, bias, output quality) * Conduct benchmark testing and drive continuous improvement cycles * _Product Integration_ * Implement developed models as APIs and documentation for product team use * Implement integration technologies (Vector DB, embeddings, RAG) * Build and operate AI systems on cloud platforms (GCP) ### Team Structure Approximately 70 members are part of the development organization. Development is divided into the following groups: * Client Solution Development * In-house AI SaaS Development * Common Infrastructure Development (Infra / Data / AI R&D) This position is assigned to the AI R&D team within Common Infrastructure Development, focusing on cutting-edge technology research and development supporting the entire product team. ### Required Qualifications * _Academic & Foundational Knowledge_ * Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields * Deep knowledge/experience in Generative AI domain * _Technical Skills_ * Advanced Python programming: Practical experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers) * Deep learning fundamentals: Understanding of neural networks, Transformers, attention mechanisms * Generative AI model implementation experience: Development/implementation experience with at least one Generative AI model (LLM, diffusion models, GANs, etc.) * _Research & Implementation Experience_ * Design and implementation experience of algorithms based on latest research papers in Computer Vision or Natural Language Processing * Research project experience with independent algorithm development and publication in academic conferences/journals * Experience applying research outcomes to actual products and achieving performance improvements * _Problem-Solving Ability_ * Experience analyzing specific technical challenges in real projects and proposing/implementing concrete solutions * Ability to address complex technical problems with creative approaches ### Preferred Qualifications * LLM/RAG implementation experience (Vector DB, embeddings, prompt design, evaluation methods) * Image generation model development/application experience (Stable Diffusion, DALL-E, custom diffusion models) * Multimodal model development experience (integrating text, images, audio) * Paper submission/publication experience in Computer Vision, NLP, or related fields * Large-scale model training/inference experience on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) * Open-source project contribution experience (GitHub, Hugging Face, etc.) * Data pipeline/MLOps construction experience (model training, evaluation, operation automation) * Multi-language implementation experience (C++, CUDA, Rust, etc. for high-performance scenarios) * AI agent or autonomous reasoning system development experience ### Tech Stack Languages: Python (framework), TypeScript / React / Next.js (frontend) / NX Infrastructure: GCP (containers / K8s), Docker Tools: Slack, Confluence, Linear, Google Workspace, GitHub, Notion Work Environment: Mac (Apple Silicon), dual monitor setup ### Learning and Development Support * AI Tool Support: * Company covers the cost of using AI tools such as JAPAN AI SaaS services, Curosor, CharGPT, Claude, etc. * Development Tool Support: * If a desired development tool is paid, the cost is covered (up to 30,000 yen per year) * Book Purchase Assistance: * Company covers the cost of purchasing books for learning, such as technical books (up to 30,000 yen per half-year) * Language Learning / Qualification Support: * Company covers the cost of Japanese or English learning programs and qualification acquisition * Refresh Allowance: * Company covers the cost of services used for personal refreshment (up to 5,000 yen per month) * e.g., gym, yoga, chiropractic, aquarium, movies, theme park tickets, etc. * Housing Allowance: * Housing allowance provided for those living in designated areas (up to 30,000 yen per month) ### Work Style Hybrid Work: 3 days in office, 2 days remote Flexible working hours: Core time is negotiable Flexibility: Future consideration for more flexible work styles is possible ### Selection Process CV Screening → Coding test → Multiple Interviews → Final Interview (Reference checks are required before the final interview.)
