■About the role
As an AI-Powered Renewable Energy Engineer, you will drive the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies into renewable energy systems. Your expertise will contribute to the optimization of energy production, storage, and distribution from renewable sources, playing a crucial role in sustainability and efficiency improvements.
■Job Scope
- Develop and implement AI-driven models to optimize renewable energy production (e.g., wind, solar).
- Design algorithms for energy demand forecasting, load balancing, and storage management.
- Analyze and model data from renewable energy systems, identifying patterns to improve efficiency.
- Integrate AI solutions with IoT devices and sensors to monitor energy infrastructure in real-time.
- Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to deploy predictive maintenance models,
reducing downtime and enhancing system reliability.
- Conduct research on emerging AI technologies applicable to renewable energy optimization.

■About Engineering and Research Division
Our Engineering and Research Division consists of mainly three teams that handle end-to-end development of Hardware and software systems for Energy storage & power transfer solutions and services. Currently, approximately 50 specialists are engaged in the mission of advancing energy storage technologies and solutions.
The Division is organized into the following teams:
- Series Development: Responsible for prototyping, testing & validation , requirements engineering , series handover of new products including product support and commissioning.
- Advanced Engineering: Responsible for development and experimentation into emerging technologies to sustain our current and future roadmap of energy solutions with focus on a areas viz. embedded development, PCB design, model based development, battery management, power conversion, digital twins, edge computing, cloud solutions ,AI/ML based dispatch optimization, generation and forecasts.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Manages product & project life cycles by tracking across quality gates through development, sourcing, value engineering leading up to manufacturing and after sales activities through cross functional coordination and data intensive product life cycle assessment

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years in energy engineering, data science, or machine learning, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
- Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, R, and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
o Experience with energy forecasting and optimization models.
o Knowledge of time-series analysis, statistical modeling, and neural networks.
o Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of renewable energy systems, particularly in solar, wind, or battery storage technologies.
- Experience with IoT systems and sensor data integration.
- Familiarity with reinforcement learning and its applications in energy management.
- Knowledge of energy policies, sustainability standards, and carbon accounting.
- Ability to translate complex AI concepts into actionable insights for business stakeholders
