Key Responsibilities

At LegalOn Technologies, the AI Foundation team develops the AI infrastructure that powers the core capabilities of our products. In addition to building and evolving this infrastructure, the team promotes AI engineering best practices across global product development teams operating in multiple time zones.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a flexible and reliable LLMOps platform. You will work closely with data scientists and AI engineers to understand their needs, provide technical leadership, and translate those needs into scalable technical solutions that continuously deliver value.

What Mission and Challenges You’ll Take On

• We build automated LLMOps infrastructure and tools to streamline AI workflows and support the development of innovative AI projects across the company.

What You’ll Do

• Development and maintenance of LLMOps platforms, ensuring flexibility and reliability
• Staying up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI, particularly best practices in LLMOps
• Collaboration with AI engineers, domain experts and SRE.
• Optimization of data processing and model training pipelines

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of backend development experience, or equivalent practical experience
• Professional development experience in at least one programming language
• Hands-on knowledge of LLMOps principles and related tools
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices (e.g., testing, CI/CD, code reviews)
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2

• Experience working on machine learning projects using ecosystems such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Development experience with Python or Rust
• Experience in server-side development using container technologies such as Docker
• Experience utilizing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) in accordance with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices
• Experience driving technical coordination and integration across multiple teams
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members from diverse cultural backgrounds (professional proficiency in both Japanese and English)
