【About This Position】
To strengthen our corporate IT infrastructure, LegalOn Technologies is seeking a Global Corporate IT Leader to drive IT strategy from a global perspective. This role will be responsible for designing and executing IT initiatives across both our headquarters in Japan and our U.S. subsidiary.
The successful candidate will play a key role in our mission to achieve our goal of becoming the No.1 LegalTech company globally, by driving employee productivity and cost efficiency, while supporting sustainable growth and long-term profitability.
【Responsibilities】
■IT Strategy Development & Execution
- Develop and implement mid‐to long‐term IT strategies aligned with overall business plans.
- Create and execute annual IT operational plans that support company objectives.
- Leverage emerging technologies, including Generative AI, to enhance organizational efficiency.
■Organizational Management
- Structure and lead the Corporate IT team to effectively achieve company-wide goals.
- Plan and execute recruitment strategies to build a high-performing team.
- Manage IT budget planning and ensure cost-effective operations.
■People Management.
- Build and foster a strong team culture while maintaining high levels of motivation.
- Assess and manage individual and team performance through regular feedback and evaluation.
- Support the continuous skill development and career growth of team members.
【Team Structure】
The Corporate IT Team spans both our Japan headquarters and our U.S. subsidiary:
- Japan Headquarters:
- 1 full-time team leader
- 6 full-time team members
- U.S. Subsidiary:
- 1 full-time team member
The Global Corporate IT Leader will oversee and strengthen this team to ensure smooth and efficient IT operations across both regions. This includes optimizing collaboration between the Japan and U.S. teams, driving alignment with IT strategy, and fostering a high-performance team environment.
必須スキル
- Proven experience in developing and executing IT strategies in a global environment.
- Experience in managing corporate IT teams and leading IT-related organizational initiatives.
- Strong people management skills, including talent development and employee motivation.
- Hands-on experience in project management.
- Experience implementing and operating enterprise collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Experience designing and managing IT systems with a security-by-design approach.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: JLPT N1 level or equivalent.
- English: Business-level proficiency (CEFR C1 equivalent, e.g., TOEIC 945 or higher).
- Must be able to actively participate in English-speaking meetings (e.g., with our U.S. group company).
歓迎スキル
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in SaaS management.
- Expertise in office network design and operations.
- Experience in designing system architectures based on Zero Trust Architecture principles.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2, and experience supporting audits.
- Experience in business process optimization and automation.
- Understanding of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
