BS_Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Job Purpose（業務目的）
Responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing cloud infrastructure for various programs. This includes cloud platform setup, system sizing, high availability/disaster recovery, security, performance tuning, and ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities（主な業務内容）  

Main responsibilities include:

Architecture & Design

• Define the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA technical architecture, including sizing, high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
• Design cloud-native infrastructure solutions to host SAP S/4HANA and supporting systems (BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, BTP, Integration Suite, etc.).
• Establish hybrid deployment models integrating private cloud/on-prem components with hyperscaler environments.

Azure Cloud Infrastructure Management

• Design, provision, and optimize SAP on Azure IaaS environments (VMs, networking, storage, load balancers).
• Lead cost, value, and risk analyses to optimize cloud operations.
• Implement Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Backup, and Recovery Services Vault for SAP workloads.
• Implementing Azure Landing Zones for SAP workloads and integrating with BTP and RISE with SAP.
• Configure HA/DR solutions (HANA system replication, SQL Always On, Oracle Data Guard on Azure).
• Drive cost optimization, governance, and security compliance for solution on Azure.

Governance & Stakeholder Management

• Define infrastructure and Basis standards, guidelines, and runbooks.
• Act as technical escalation point for Basis and infrastructure issues.
• Translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders during solutioning and architecture design.
• Support cross-functional teams to deliver SAP migration and transformation projects across BU.

• SAPワークロード向けAzure Landing Zonesの実装とBTPとの統合、およびRiseとSAPとの統合。

Qualifications （応募要件）

Education:   Bachelor of Science/Computer Science/B. Tech/MCA in Computer Science, IT or related field.
理学士号/計算機科学。コンピュータサイエンス、IT、または関連分野のTech/MCA。

Experience:  

• Overall 12+ years’ experience (FMCG organization experience from food/beverages, Retail industry will be preferred)
• Min. 12+ years of Cloud Infrastructure and Basis experience, including 5+ years as a Cloud Infrastructure with preferably 2+ full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.

•  １2年以上のクラウドインフラストラクチャとBASISの経験（5年以上のクラウドインフラストラクチャ経験。これに2年以上のフルサイクルS/4HANA実装を備えた経験があると尚可）

• DevOps & Automation: IaaC, CI/CD, SRE pipelines, GitHub.
• Networking & Security: Network Topology, Connectivity, Virtual Network Manager, VPC, IAM, Cluster and End Point Security, Encryptions, Zero Trust.
• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.
• Storage, Backups and Data Management: Key Vault, Storage (File, BLOB, ADLS), Azure Data Share, Backup site/recovery vaults, log analytics, etc.
• HA/DR for SAP (HANA System Replication, SQL Always On, Oracle Data Guard on Azure).
• Azure Cost Management & Governance.
• Azure Active Directory, RBAC, and security compliance.

Technical Breadth:

• OS: Linux (SUSE, Red Hat), AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, Windows.
• Databases: SAP HANA, Oracle, DB2, MS-SQL, Sybase ASE/IQ, MaxDB.
• Cloud: RISE with SAP, BTP, Azure.

Language: Bi-lingual Japanese (Native level Japanese), English (Business Level) is a must.
