【Responsibilities】 As a high-level engineering manager, your primary responsibilities are to manage multiple teams in the domains of Autoware (e.g. core AD stack), simulation, and possibly accelerator chip designs. You are expected to lead the group of teams with strong communication and leadership skills backed by years of relevant experiences. Your roles include but are not limited to reporting to the C-suite executives to understand business and strategic requirements, working with the leadership and the teams to make a research and development plan, and communicating across the organization to drive the necessary requirements. You may also assist the teams as necessary with your engineering capabilities and mentoring skills. You are expected to have a good sense of balance between short term business requirements and a longer term investment in research stage activities. Doing so would involve having to decide whether to develop in-house or outsource to external entities.
必須スキル
● Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or related fields. Master’s degree or higher preferred. ● 2+ years of development experience in the fields of autonomous vehicles or robotics. ● 5+ years of experience in large-scale production development as an engineer ● 3+ years of experience as a people manager ● 8+ years of total experience in the engineering industry ● Hands-on understanding of Best Engineering Practices ● Experiences in testing in software ● Deep understanding of general DepOps ● Excellent verbal and written communications skills ● Business level fluency in verbal and written communications in English language ● Conversational fluency in Japanese language ● Cross-cultural understanding ● Excellent leadership skills

● Contribution expereinces to OSS ● Hands-on knowledge of Autonomous Driving technologies and development experiences ● Experiences working with simulation technologies ● Understanding of neural simulation and world model ● Knowledge of custom chip development ● Experience in architecture and interface design for large scale software projects ● Business level fluency in Japanese language
