募集概要
This is a Senior/Lead Android Developer position for the AI language learning app 「SpeakBuddy」. 【What you’ll do】 ・Design (architecture), develop, test, and deliver SpeakBuddy app ・Lead technical aspects of Android projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders (Product Manager, Designers, Education Lead, Marketing, and Sales Teams) to ensure alignment on requirements, keep them informed on progress, and meet deliverable milestones ・Proactively identify problems and propose enhancements as we scale and expand internationally - For example, our product architecture is one area that requires attention - We expect you to take the lead in these efforts, demonstrating your expertise and initiative ・Share insights and suggestions to enhance UI/UX, directly contributing to a seamless user experience - Incorporate user feedback and improve the overall product and user experience ・Work and support the members inside and outside Android team ・Check, discuss, and install new & useful libraries / technologies ・Find and fix bugs from analytics tools or/and testing 【What you’ll have】 ・Be part of developing an AI app that will change the industry ・You will engage a frontend position, so you can get feedback directly from users ・No matter where you're from you can be part of a diverse team ・You can develop using the latest architecture and library like Compose, Material3, Modularization ・Our CEO has development experience and wants to create an engineer friendly environment 【Tech stack & environment】 Language: Kotlin IDE: Android Studio Architecture: App Architecture (MVVM), Clean Architecture, Modularization DI: Hilt Kotlin: Flow, Coroutine, Serialization Design: In-house design on Compose Material3 (Moving from Material2) Other Tools: GitHub Actions, Firebase Crashlytics, Jira / Confluence, Slack, Figma, AWS 【Selection Flow】 Casual Interview（Online） ↓ Coding Challenge ↓ Formal Interview 2 Times（Online） ↓ Reference Check ↓ Final Interview（Offline/Online if you are offshore）
必須スキル
【Requirements】 ・At least 7 years of experience with Android app development and operation using Kotlin at a company that develops its own products or services, or an equivalent level of development skill ・Lead experience in task creation/allocation/management/prioritization, scheduling, and internal stakeholder management, excelling in guiding developer teams and handling cross-functional tasks ・Experience releasing an app on Google Play Console ・Experience outside of development such as working with a designer to improve UX ・Experience or understandings of App Architecture, MVVM, and unit testings ・Experience with planning and specification setting for new features of an app ・Business level English language proficiency

【Nice to have】 ・Experience of the latest Android development (Jetpack Compose, Kotlinx, etc) ・Knowledge and experience of a feature / app / system with voice recognition ・Knowledge and experience of UI testing ・Strong knowledge of Material Design (Material 3, especially) ・Motivation to learn Japanese (current Japanese skill is not required)

Work Location：Nihonbashi 1-chome Mitsui Bldg. 5F, 1-4-1 Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo Fully remote work also available from Japan. We have an offline meeting once every three months.
