The core functionality of "Money Forward ME" is built on aggregation technology, which automatically retrieves data such as balances and transaction histories by linking with accounts from banks, credit cards, and securities. The service is created based on data obtained through this aggregation and data manually entered by users. In this period of transformation, we are facing many challenges while seizing significant opportunities as well. We are looking for individuals who can respond flexibly to these challenges and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. The role of the Engineering Manager is particularly crucial, and we expect you to act as a successor to the current head of the development department, overseeing the entire department and demonstrating leadership in the near future. ### Main Responsibilities * _Team Building_ * Build a team to maximize the output of the engineering team by enhancing both quality and productivity. * _People Management_ * Improve the growth environment for individual engineers within a global engineering team, including their development, evaluation, and recruitment. * _Project Management_ * Take ownership of projects involving the Product Development Department, and spearhead coordination within the engineering organization. * Collaborate with various counterparts, including the engineering, business, and PdM teams, to manage projects and drive them to a successful completion. ### Required Skills and Experience * Experience with people management in an engineering organization of 5 or more, including their development, evaluation and recruitment. * Over 5 years of professional experience as an engineer. * Experience in driving projects forward by collaborating with multinational development teams in English. ### Preferred Skills and Experience * Experience as Tech Lead, or in Engineering Management in a development organization of 10 or more several dozen people. * Experience in designing, developing, and operating cloud infrastructure. * Experience in designing, developing, and operating microservices. * Experience in speaking at or organizing study sessions and conferences. ### Technical Stack * _Languages_ : Ruby, Java, Kotlin, Swift * _Frameworks_ : Ruby on Rails, SpringBoot * _Databases_ : MySQL * _Infrastructure/Middleware_ : AWS (EKS, S3, RDS, etc...), GCP (BigQuery, Firebase), Cloudflare, Kubernetes, Envoy, Nginx, Redis, Memcached, HAProxy * _IaC_ : Terraform ### Tools used * _Source Code Management_ : GitHub * _CI/CD_ : CircleCI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Bitrise, Terraform Cloud * _Monitoring_ : Datadog, Rollbar * _Communication_ : Slack, Zoom * _Project Management_ : JIRA ### Environment At Money Forward, we provide an environment where we can create world-class services together, and we are looking forward to welcoming you. * _Provided PC specs:_ Latest CPU-equipped PC (macOS or Windows).
