## Recruitment Background Under the mission of "Money Forward. We have partnered with Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc. and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation to establish a new company in preparation for the launch of a new digital bank. The evaluation system and employee benefits will follow the policies of Money Forward, Inc. ## About Us We are a startup team partnering with Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation to establish a new digital bank. Our top priority is to build embedded financial products from scratch to support small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Our new digital bank project leverages the power of SaaS ✖️ Fintech to deliver accessible, cost-effective, and timely financial services. Our aim is to create transformative back-office operational experiences and innovative financial journeys, supporting the Digital Transformation of our clients. ## Main Responsibilities As a QA Process Engineer, our goal is to shape the future of digital banking in Japan, making it more user-friendly and accessible than ever before. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and establishing development and quality assurance processes to ensure quality assurance measures. * Design and manage the QA process integrated with our CI/CD pipeline. * Planning test strategies, reporting defects, and making release decisions * Planning, creating, and executing test cases for functional and non-functional requirements * Facilitate consensus and strong alignment across key stakeholders (PdM, Development, SRE, Security, Operations, and Legal). ## Unique Experience Gained * Lead collaborative development, design reviews, and post-mortems with our international teams. * Define quality governance specific to the banking domain, including formalizing release criteria, severity definitions (Sev1-3), traceability requirements, and audit readiness protocols. ## Team and Work Style * A joint project team of SMBC ✖️ Money Forward, operating as a small, high-performing team with rapid decision-making. * A global development environment with significant opportunities for English communication, as we engage in joint development with international teams. ## Required Skills and Experience * QA or development experience (3+ years) * Experience in formulating software development processes or QA processes * Holder of ISTQB (including JSTQB) Foundation Level certification or equivalent knowledge * Bachelor's degree in information processing or computer science * Interest in communication within a global development environment, as development is conducted jointly with overseas locations, and English will be used in work situations (TOEIC or similar scores are not required at the time of joining) ## Preferred Skills and Experience * Experience in AI development or using AI tools for development * Money Forward recently announced our AI Strategy roadmap which focuses on improving AI-driven operational efficiencies, as well as integrating AI agents into our products to deliver better value to our users.
