We have about 350 employees in various positions including mobile engineers, front-end and back-end engineers, infrastructure engineers, data scientists, designers, and product managers; about 25% of our employees are international members. We are a company that combines a stable environment with a venture mindset and the drive to take on new challenges. ### Information ## About Business Development Group The Business Development G is involved in global projects in Full Service Lease of vehicles, the core of mobility services, and other services. The Business Development G organises issues related to the launch of services in each country and issues for further growth, identifies points of differentiation through systemisation and requirements for global systems, and then leads business development to develop and implement the most suitable systems. Our mission is to expand mobility services worldwide and deliver high-quality services to our customers. Communication in English is fundamental when working with overseas businesses and engineers. ## What you'll do * Develop and plan business and sales strategies for mobility services in various countries, focusing on differentiation through systematization * Collaborate with internal and external engineers to plan, design, and implement systems that are optimal for the business and scalable globally * Lead projects for the implementation of global systems, working closely with internal and external engineers through detailed business analysis * Coordinate with a wide range of diverse stakeholders ## Why this position? * You will lead Toyota's new global-scale business initiatives with a focus on systems. You'll be involved with high-impact products like mobility and sharing services, helping to make people's lives richer, more convenient, and more enjoyable * This role is closely aligned with the business side, allowing you to see how the systems you develop contribute to the overall business and experience business growth from an engineering perspective * As part of a growing team, you'll have ample opportunities to engage in new global products and projects, contributing from the ground up ## Requirements ### Minimum requirements * Experience in at least one of the following: business development in IT-related field, system planning, or business planning * Experience related to overseas business or global projects * English proficiency: Business level or higher * Japanese proficiency: Business level or higher ※ For senior-level position: * In-depth understanding of the latest IT services and technology trends * Experience in planning and implementing global services or systems ### Nice to have * Experience in planning and implementing global core business systems * Practical experience and involvement in establishing operations at overseas subsidiaries ### We also value * Leadership needed to engage stakeholders and promote global business under conditions of high uncertainty * Strong logical reasoning and articulation skills * Good communicator, with acceptance of diverse values and the ability to build strong relationships * Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt flexibly to changing situations ## Development environment * PC: Windows or Mac * Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Miro, Slack, VS Code, Zoom, Teams etc.
