■Engineering & Research Division / Edge Computing Full-Stack Engineer ■About the role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Edge Computing Full-Stack Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying full-stack web applications that run entirely on edge devices, specifically the NVIDIA Orin platform. ■Job Scope 1. Architecture Design: - Architect and design scalable, high-performance, and resilient full-stack applications that can run entirely on the NVIDIA Orin edge device. - Evaluate and select the appropriate backend frameworks, frontend technologies, databases, and other tools to optimize for the Orin's hardware capabilities. - Ensure the application's architecture is optimized for low latency, offline capabilities, and data privacy. 2. Backend Development: - Develop efficient and performant backend services using technologies like Python (FastAPI, Flask), Node.js (Express.js), or C++ (Drogon, Crow). - Implement secure and scalable APIs, handling tasks such as database operations, business logic, and real-time processing. - Leverage the Orin's GPU and AI capabilities to accelerate compute-intensive tasks. 3. Frontend Development: - Build responsive and interactive single-page applications (SPAs) using modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular. - Optimize the frontend for performance and offline capabilities, leveraging techniques like service workers and local storage. - Ensure seamless integration between the frontend and backend components running on the Orin. 4. Deployment and Optimization: - Develop efficient deployment and update strategies for the full-stack application on the Orin platform. - Continuously optimize the application's performance, resource utilization, and security measures. - Implement monitoring and logging systems to ensure the application's reliability and availability. 5. Collaboration and Documentation: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, and operations) to ensure a cohesive and effective solution. - Document the application's architecture, deployment procedures, and maintenance guidelines. - Share knowledge and best practices with the team to foster continuous improvement. ■Internal common IT tools - Google Workspace （Gmail, G-cal, Gmeet等） - Slack - Notion - Dialpad - SmartHR - Money Foward - Bakuraku etc. ■About Engineering and Research Division Our Engineering and Research Division consists of mainly three teams that handle end-to-end development of Hardware and software systems for Energy storage & power transfer solutions and services. Currently, approximately 50 specialists are engaged in the mission of advancing energy storage technologies and solutions. The Division is organized into the following teams: - Series Development: Responsible for prototyping, testing & validation , requirements engineering , series handover of new products including product support and commissioning. - Advanced Engineering: Responsible for development and experimentation into emerging technologies to sustain our current and future roadmap of energy solutions with focus on a areas viz. embedded development, PCB design, model based development, battery management, power conversion, digital twins, edge computing, cloud solutions ,AI/ML based dispatch optimization, generation and forecasts. - Product Lifecycle Management: Manages product & project life cycles by tracking across quality gates through development, sourcing, value engineering leading up to manufacturing and after sales activities through cross functional coordination and data intensive product life cycle assessment Working alongside talented engineers from around the world, you will have the opportunity to thrive in a diverse environment that values autonomy and empowers individuals to make effective contributions while gaining new skills and experiences on some of the latest emerging technologies directly applied into our solutions.

- Proficient in at least one backend language (Python, Node.js, or C++) and its corresponding web frameworks. - Extensive experience in building modern, responsive, and performant frontend applications using popular JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular). - Familiarity with edge computing concepts, including low latency, offline capabilities, and data privacy. - Strong understanding of system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization. - Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) for deployment and management. - Familiarity with NVIDIA Orin or similar edge computing platforms, including their hardware capabilities and software ecosystem. - Hands-on experience with database management, APIs, and secure communication protocols. - Ability to work in a cross-functional team and contribute to the overall project success. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
