Overseas Project Managers

We are looking for project managers who are interested in DX in a wide range of industries served by Mitsubishi Corporation! MC Digital is a technology company founded in September 2019 with the investment from Mitsubishi Corporation for the purpose of working with Mitsubishi Corporation to change business models and develop new businesses, services and products using digital technologies. MC Digital develops and validates systems that combine prediction and optimization in global industrial fields. We believe there are many areas even in the enterprise business where AI can be fully utilized. In these areas, we are providing value primarily for the Mitsubishi Corporation Group companies and promoting the development of SaaS that can be used by companies outside the Group in the future. [Job Description] Together with our parent company, which has a business portfolio covering virtually all industries, MC Digital is currently working to help leading companies representing Japan to utilize AI in order to promote DX in all industries. You will be expected to communicate with various customers, create AI business, and manage AI projects. This is a management position responsible for completing AI projects, including customer issue identification, technology examination, data preparation, PoC, and the process from verification to evaluation and actual operation in order to substantially solve customers’ issues. <Examples of Projects> ･Overseas sales subsidiary of a major automotive company: Defining issues and generating ideas at end-to-end customer touch points, and supporting the review of proposed measures. ･Major transportation company: Defining issues across the company, developing measures based on them and supporting their implementation. ･Others: Supporting data utilization and DX projects in the food, power, finance and other industries and also supporting DX in the human resource development field.

[Required Skills] ･Business-level communication skills in English It is preferable that you have experience in more than one of the following areas: ･Knowledge, experience, and expertise in the industry ･Experience in promoting industrial structural change and digital transformation from the initial study phase to the implementation phase ･Communication skills to get others involved ･Experience of working with data scientists and technical professionals on collaborative projects

[Preferred Skills] ･Experience of supporting or managing the above-mentioned projects in a consulting firm ･Research of other companies’ cases for planning and launching new business or services ･Knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm for technological and digital fields ･Experience in planning and conducting design thinking workshops ･UI/UX design
