Internship (Data Science)

We are looking for interns who are interested in the data from a wide range of industries served by Mitsubishi Corporation! [About MC Digital] MC Digital is a technology company founded in September 2019 with an investment from Mitsubishi Corporation. In addition to the provision of services to the Mitsubishi Corporation Group companies, we are working to develop new services and products that can be extended to companies outside the Group. [Job Description] Using real industry data, interns will be involved in the following tasks: ･Developing machine learning models and verifying their prediction accuracy ･Developing mathematical optimization models and improving algorithms ･Improving hypothesis testing efficiency by developing machine learning pipelines and visualization tools If you are interested, we encourage you to apply!

[Required Skills] ･Ability to sort out business issues and formulate them as mathematical problems ･Ability to form and test hypotheses ･Data analysis and visualization ･Basic knowledge of machine learning and statistics

[Preferred Skills] ･Experience in participating in or winning Kaggle and other programming competitions ･Experience of engineering internship in a company ･Experience of working on data analysis, machine learning and optimization projects in a company ･Research experience in the mathematical and information science fields ･Submission and publication of papers at home and abroad ･Business-level communication skills in English ･Documentation skills, such as the creation of presentation slides
