Software Engineers

We are looking for software engineers who are interested in digitizing a wide range of industries served by Mitsubishi Corporation! MC Digital is a technology company founded in September 2019 with an investment from Mitsubishi Corporation. In addition to the provision of services to the Mitsubishi Corporation Group companies, we are working to develop new services and products that can be extended to companies outside the Group. Our work covers a wide range of industries served by Mitsubishi Corporation (industrial plants, logistics, energy, retail, food, healthcare, urban development, mobility, power, chemicals, metal resources, etc.) and therefore this is an environment where you can take on a wide variety of challenges. Employees in this position will work on putting machine learning and mathematical optimization techniques to practical use and developing products and systems to solve customer issues. You will be able to be involved in software development in a wide variety of fields, including prototyping in response to customer issues, building data platforms and developing business applications with the assumption that they will be offered in a production environment, and SaaS development. There are also opportunities where your experience in AtCoder can be of use, such as the creation of an optimization algorithm [Job Description] ･Developing products to provide machine learning and mathematical optimization techniques, and creating optimization algorithms ･Selecting technology based on the application requirements and designing cloud architectures ･Designing, developing and operating APIs and Web applications, using Go, Python, Typescript, and other programming languages. ･Planning new business and researching and proposing its technical feasibility

[Required Skills] ･Knowledge equivalent to a degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience ･Experience in software development (Python, Go, TypeScript, C++, Java, etc.) ･Experience in system development using cloud services, such as AWS and GCP ･Experience in team development

[Preferred Skills] ･Experience in designing, developing and operating Web applications and enterprise services ･Experience in launching new services and taking leadership in technology selection ･Experience in building infrastructure and automating operations with Infrastructure as Code ･Experience in contribution to OSS ･Knowledge on the design and security of authentication and authorization using IDaaS ･Experience in project management and people management ･Experience in Scrum development ･Knowledge on machine learning and mathematical optimization techniques ･Experience in participating in competitions such as AtCoder and Kaggle
