We are looking for product managers who are interested in DX in a wide range of industries served by Mitsubishi Corporation!
MC Digital is a technology company founded in September 2019 with the investment from Mitsubishi Corporation for the purpose of working with Mitsubishi Corporation to change business models and develop new businesses, services and products using digital technologies.
As a product manager, you will be able to participate in a new project from the planning stage with Mitsubishi Corporation’s staff who are in charge of new business creation, covering a wide range of industries served by Mitsubishi Corporation.
As a key player of the project, the product manager will lead stakeholders, such as Mitsubishi Corporation, MC Digital, and companies with special functions, with strong leadership, and formulate and promote a roadmap toward the proposal and realization of a new business.
MC Digital has many engineers who have proven track records in both academia and engineering. By utilizing machine learning and microservices through the use of containers, business plans can be implemented at the production level, not limited to the PoC level, which is a characteristic of the company.

[Job Description]
・Planning and examination for the conversion of MC Digital’s development algorithms/analysis methods into products
・Proposing and supporting implementation of new business/service development using AI and machine learning
・Proposing and supporting implementation of the solutions to client’s business issues
・Project management of algorithm development, introduction of systems, and data analysis
・Proposing and supporting implementation of other new projects

[Required Skills]
◆Consulting skills for the introduction of systems
-> Able to think and act, for example, on the following on one’s own, regardless of whether the staff are inside or outside the company.
- Estimating and calculating the impact of system construction on the business
- Negotiating and reaching agreement with customers in consideration of various conditions
◆Project management
-> Able to understand the details of the system, estimate the skills and time required, and be flexible to make changes in the ongoing process
-> Able to perform people management on both the business and engineering sides in the system construction process
・Documentation of the progress of a project
-> Able to prepare the documents required to complete the task on one’s own. For example, the following documentation is expected:
- Documents to help build consensus among stakeholders (e.g.: PPT)
- Documents to summarize the overall concept, such as a list of required deliverables, a diagram of system overview, etc.
◆Knowledge of machine learning and other advanced technologies
-> Able to understand and summarize what engineers and data scientists do and produce and then clearly communicate them to stakeholders

・Experience in developing commercial products that continuously generate revenue
・Experience in developing intellectual property, such as patents and planning their strategies
・Having knowledge of both agile and waterfall development models
・Experience in managing development and operations projects for large and distributed systems
・Experience in managing development and operation projects for microservices using Docker/Kubernetes
・Business-level communication skills in English
