At Eukarya, we develop and offer "Re:Earth," a next-generation open-source WebGIS (Geographic Information System) platform renowned for its high scalability and intuitive user interface. Re:Earth stands out as the first WebGIS platform with an in-browser operating plugin system and is also available as open-source software. We aim to create and disseminate value in collaboration with our contributors, presenting our work at global conferences such as FOSS4G.

【Current Status and Challenges】
Since its launch in the summer of 2021, our main product, the next-generation WebGIS platform "Re:Earth," has rapidly expanded its demand among businesses and government agencies, securing nearly 200 million yen in orders within just six months. The demand for Re:Earth and the scale of the projects continue to grow swiftly.
Eukarya is rapidly expanding its business operations and manages various SaaS products, including Re:Earth. To ensure the stable provision of these services, we have established an SRE team. This team supports product teams across the company, advancing the foundation of high-quality service. We are looking for intellectually curious and exceptional SRE engineers to join us.
【Job Responsibilities】
・Handle a broad range of tasks related to cloud infrastructure to ensure the stability and reliability of our services.
・Cultivate an internal culture of SRE and DevOps.
・Design, build, monitor, and manage incident responses for cloud infrastructure to ensure stable operations of services like Re:Earth.
・Maintain and improve CI/CD, distributed tracing, SLI measurements, and log analysis.
・Develop cross-team technologies including server applications and security.
・Analyze and improve the performance of applications and databases.
・Provide SRE support for various product teams.
・Automate QA testing.

・Experience a challenging development environment through a highly productive front-end setup using React, TypeScript, and GraphQL, and robust, scalable server-side development utilizing Go, Google Cloud, Clean Architecture, and DDD.
・Work in an OSS-centered business model, rare in Japan, where engineers can engage in highly technical and challenging tasks in a prominent manner. For example, developers are credited in our release notes (more details at: https://reearth.io/ja/blog/2022/1/28/release-v040 ).

給与 | <Annual salary will be determined based on experience and capabilities in accordance with our company regulations.> ■Annual Salary: 4,800,000 JPY to 7,200,000 JPY ■Monthly Salary: -Base Salary (monthly): 300,000 JPY to 450,000 JPY -Fixed Overtime Allowance (monthly): Compensation for 42 hours (100,000 JPY to 150,000 JPY) Note: ・Additional overtime pay will be provided for hours worked beyond the fixed overtime. ・Depending on skills, the salary offered may exceed the above-mentioned range. |
