Building on widely-used open-source software, we provide both the foundational self-driving technology as well as the integration and customisation necessary to provide our customers with complete self-driving applications. As a Vehicle Control Software Engineer, you will be responsible for all steps of software development for VCU (Vehicle Control Unit) of Autonomous Vehicles. You will bridge among autonomous driving systems and original vehicle control systems to realize a vehicle implemented with Autoware. ・Design VCU software architecture from vehicle systems ・Implement VCU software and execute tests with actual vehicles ・VCU software development planning and coordination The satisfaction of this job is that you will be able to realize autonomous vehicles, which are not yet on the road in the world, a reality through your work. You will also have the opportunity to work on challenging projects while being exposed to the latest technology in the ever-evolving automated driving industry.

・A bachelor's degree in software, electrical or equivalent engineering fields. ・2+ years of experience in software engineering related roles. ・Experience in C or C++. ・Written and verbal communication skills in Japanese.

・Experience with Linux or Unix-based systems ・Experience with electric vehicles development ・Experience with autonomous vehicles, ADAS or similar automated systems development ・Ability to communicate at a technical level in both English
