1： In the field of autonomous driving or robotics in general you should be familiar with one or more of the following:
・Sensing & Perception: camera, LiDAR or RADAR sensing, calibration, filtering, processing and sensor fusion. Object detection, multi-object tracking, behavior prediction
・Localization/Mapping: SLAM or Bayesian filtering based localization
・Planning: route planning, high level behavior planning, trajectory planning
・Control: vehicle motion control, optimal control theory, robust control, system identification
2： Proficiency in programming with one or more of
・C++, ROS, Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Jupyter, Matlab
3： Language proficiency:
・Researcher's working language is English: applicants should be proficient in reading, writing and speaking in English on technical topics.
・Researcher's work closely with the development team, therefore the ability to discuss technical matters in Japanese is highly regarded.
4： Graduate degree in a related field (Masters, PhD) with publication record OR demonstrable industrial research experience
