This role sits at the center of that transition.
【Role Overview】
This is a mission-critical position and TeraWatt’s first dedicated Product Marketing hire.
You will be responsible for establishing Product Marketing at TeraWatt, while remaining deeply hands-on in execution. You will own how our battery platforms are positioned, communicated, and brought to market globally, in close collaboration with Sales, BD, R&D, Manufacturing, and leadership.

This is a highly hands-on role. You will personally develop content, engage directly with customers, and drive go-to-market execution.

【Key Responsibilities】
<Build & Lead Product Marketing >
・Define the scope, role, and operating model of Product Marketing at TeraWatt.
・Establish core frameworks for positioning, messaging, GTM, and sales enablement.
・Act as the owner of product narrative consistency across the company.
<Product Positioning & Messaging >
・Develop and continuously refine product positioning, value propositions, and storytelling.
・Translate performance, cost, safety, and manufacturability trade-offs into customer value.
・Lead competitive analysis and differentiation strategy.
<Go-To-Market & Commercialization>
・Lead GTM strategy and execution for new product introductions.
・Define target segments, use cases, and messaging priorities.
・Provide value-based input into pricing logic and commercial strategy.
<Sales & Business Development Enablement>
・Create and maintain core sales materials: pitch decks, product briefs, FAQs, competitive comparisons, and proposal content.
・Actively support key customer and OEM engagements, including customer calls, workshops, and executive presentations.
・Shape narratives for strategic partnerships and large commercial opportunities.
<Market & Customer Insight>
・Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive intelligence.
・Synthesize insights into actionable recommendations for Product, R&D, and leadership.
・Influence product roadmap and prioritization through customer and market insight.
<Cross-Functional Leadership>
・Serve as a bridge between engineering, product, commercial teams and customers
・Drive alignment across functions to ensure credible, consistent product communication.
・Prepare the foundation for future Product Marketing team growth.
必須スキル
【Must-Have Qualifications】
・5–10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Strategy, or Technical Marketing in B2B industrial, hardware, or deep-tech domains.
・Proven experience building product positioning, messaging, and GTM frameworks from scratch.
・Strong ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business and customer value.
・Hands-on execution capability across content creation, GTM planning, and customer engagement.
・Native-level proficiency in English
・Business-level proficiency in Japanese

・Strong communicator: Capable of presenting complex concepts clearly to customers, executives, and internal stakeholders.
