By integrating financial technology into our platform, we aim to offer seamless, personalized, and accessible travel solutions for everyone. <Key Responsibilities> - Infrastructure Setup:Design and implement robust infrastructure to support scalable web scraping activities. - In-House Proxy Services: Develop and maintain proxy services to manage and optimize web scraping operations, ensuring high availability and reliability. - JS Rendering:Handle JavaScript rendering to accurately extract data from modern, dynamic websites. - Reporting:Develop comprehensive reporting mechanisms to track and analyze scraped data, providing actionable insights for the pricing team. - Collaboration: Work closely with the product, data science, and procurement teams to ensure seamless integration of the price crawler with existing systems. - Optimization: Continuously optimize and improve web scraping processes for speed and efficiency.

<Qualifications> - Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on Python. - Web Scraping: Proven experience in building and maintaining web scrapers, including handling JavaScript-heavy websites. - Proxy Management:Strong knowledge and experience in setting up and managing in-house proxy services. - Infrastructure: Experience with designing and setting up infrastructure for scalable web scraping operations. - Frameworks & Tools: Proficiency with web scraping frameworks such as Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, Selenium, and related tools. - Databases: Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data storage solutions. - Reporting: Experience in developing reporting tools and dashboards to present scraped data. - Problem Solving:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Team Player:Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. - Language: Business level English required, Japanese language skills nice to have but not necessary. - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

<Nice to Have> - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). - Familiarity with microservices architecture. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. - Understanding of pricing strategies in the travel industry.
