This positon is Intern for engineering students. As a food tech startup, Connected Robotics is developing robotics technology to solve social issues such as chronic labor shortages, heavy labor, and contactless response in the food industry. So far, we have steadily built up a track record of delivering products to physical stores and food factories, such as takoyaki robots, soft serve ice cream robots, soba robots, AI inspection robots, and prepared food serving robots. Currently, I am working in an office on the Koganei Campus of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology while conducting joint research. There are many foreign employees working in the company, and it is a very lively workplace where English is always spoken. We are also working on joint research with the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology and AIST with a grant from NEDO. This role is responsible for all the process for software development and quality assurance. We focus on software development for the purchased robots to implement new functions as various elements are necessary for robots' usage in the new fields. In order to consider the system as our official products, we need robotic integrators who can be responsible for project management and implementation. We expect the candidates for the position to be familiar with cost reduction, safety and usability. ■ Required skill ・Majoring in either robotics, software engineer, AI or IT related ・English: Daily conversation level or higher (approximately TOEIC score 750 ) *We do not require Japanese language proficiency as our work is mainly in English.
